Men's Shed Assistant

Werribee Men’s Shed (Tuesday & Thursday 9am-3pm)
since 2011, offers a social space with activities promoting men’s health & wellbeing through connection, sharing skills and hands-on activities including woodwork, metalwork, bike maintenance, gardening, mosaics, technology and more. 

This role will assist the centre manager as on on site liaison for the Werribee Men's Shed on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week, as a liaison for people visiting the Men's Shed.

Main duties will include

• welcoming visitors and offering a shed tour
• providing information on membership
• assist with signing up as a member and taking payments
• taking other queries men's shed members and advising manager as needed
• assisting community members with job request's and posting on the shed noticeboard
• other support tasks as needed
