Retail Volunteer Supervisor for Sundays - Vinnies Kingaroy

As a Volunteer Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in the day-to-day operations of our retail store, making a valuable contribution to the work of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland.

We are seeking a reliable and committed volunteer to supervise the store on Sundays. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, supporting a team, and taking responsibility for the smooth running of the shop.

• Open and prepare the store for the day

• Providing the customer with an excellent shopping experience

• Sorting and pricing donations

• Assisting with product displays

• Processing sales through the point of sale cash register

• Keeping the store and sorting area tidy, whilst maintaining safe work practices.

• Complete end-of-day tasks, including cash handling and closing procedures

• Ensure the store is securely closed at the end of the day

• Be a confident and approachable people person
• Be reliable and comfortable taking responsibility
• Be welcoming, encouraging and positive
• Be willing to work within the ethos of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland
