Garden Care Volunteer

🌿 Volunteer Gardener | Miller House

Help us keep Miller House looking welcoming, cared for and full of life.

We’re looking for a friendly volunteer who enjoys spending time in the garden and would like to help us add those little finishing touches that make an outdoor space feel loved.

This is a light garden upkeep role and does not replace the work undertaken by our contracted gardening service. Instead, you’ll help keep the gardens looking their best between scheduled gardening visits.

What you might be doing:

• Watering garden beds, pots and plants as needed
• Light weeding and general garden tidying
• Helping keep garden areas looking neat, colourful and welcoming
• Providing a little extra care and attention to plants and outdoor spaces

There is no heavy gardening or major garden maintenance expected as part of this volunteer role.

Flexible to suit you

One of the great things about this role is its flexibility. A couple of hours each week or fortnight would be wonderful, and days and times can be arranged to suit your availability and the needs of Miller House.

This could be a lovely opportunity for someone who enjoys gardening, being outdoors and taking pride in making a space look beautiful, while making a positive contribution to our Miller House community.

You don’t need to be an expert gardener. Enthusiasm, reliability and an enjoyment of pottering around the garden are what we’re really looking for.
