Social Enterprise Cafe - All Round Support
Open House is a small charity organisation that has been serving the community for over 50 years. As a not-for-profit organisation, we depend on volunteers to help us deliver our services. We seek volunteers who are caring, friendly and committed to our mission of giving long-term friendship and support to children, young people and adults in our community, particularly those who are disadvantaged or socially isolated.
Our café is a social enterprise that creates opportunities for young people to gain free café skills training, while also generating income to support the work of Open House. By volunteering, you’ll help us run a welcoming café, support young people to build valuable skills, and contribute to the wider work of Open House.

The Position:
The role of Café Volunteer is to:
- Take customer orders and operate the register
- Serve customers and clear tables
- Clean, restock and assist with deliveries
- Engage with customers in a friendly and helpful manner
- Support a positive environment for young people undertaking café training
Hospitality, customer service or coffee-making experience is preferred.
