Partners In Care Together is seeking compassionate, reliable volunteers to support our mission of connecting people to care, support, and community.
These volunteers assist residents with socialising, promoting a sense of well-being and encouraging community connectedness. Most importantly they bring joy and create smiles!
About the Role:
As a volunteer, you’ll play a vital part in helping individuals access services, stay connected, and feel supported. Depending on your skills and interests, you might:
- Provide companionship and conversation
- Helping in facilitating activities
- Take walks through the garden
- Support people navigating the aged care or disability systems
What We’re Looking For:
- A caring, empathetic nature
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- A commitment to confidentiality and respect
- Availability for at least a 2 hours per week
- Previous experience working/volunteering with older people, aged care or social support is desirable but not essential.
**Requirements: **
- A current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain one)
- A Criminal History check (we will run this when you apply)
- Up to date vaccination history
- Driver’s licence (advantageous but not essential)
