Help Support Local Families in Need!
Meerilinga operates a food diversion program that supports families experiencing hardship in the Beechboro community.
Each week, surplus food that would otherwise go to waste is collected from the local Woolworths store and delivered to the Meerilinga Beechboro centre, where it is distributed to people in need.
We are looking for a volunteer who can spare 1 to 2 hours per week to collect the food and transport it to the centre. This is a simple yet meaningful way to make a positive difference in your local community.
Mileage costs for travel between the Meerilinga centre and Woolworths, return, will be reimbursed.
Make a real impact in your community with just 1 to 2 hours of your time each week!
