Foodbank WA - Opportunity to volunteer for Perth Coastal Bike Ride

About the Role Perth Coastal Bike Ride is a scenic community cycling event held in Perth's northern coastal suburbs. Now in its third year, the event brings together riders of all ages and abilities to enjoy the stunning coastline while promoting health, wellbeing, community connection and local engagement. This year's event, Ride for a Purpose, will raise vital funds towards putting a third Mobile Foodbank on the road, helping Foodbank WA reach more communities experiencing food insecurity. Following the success of our recent Park for a Purpose event, which raised more than $80,000, we are hopeful that the Perth Coastal Bike Ride will make a significant contribution towards our overall fundraising goal of $200,000.
Why volunteer with us At Foodbank WA, we believe everyone should have access to healthy food. Our work supports Western Australians who are doing it tough, while also building long term solutions through education and early support. By volunteering for Ride for a Purpose, you will help create an experience that builds understanding, strengthens community and supports people facing food insecurity. We are looking for volunteers to support us on the day. 📍 Location: Two Rocks Village 4 Azzurra Loop, Two Rocks WA 6037 📅 Date: Sunday 22nd November
🕒 Shift Times :
- Morning shift – 8am to 11am
- Afternoon shift – 11am – 1pm
- All day shift – 8am- 1pm
🎉 Volunteer Roles Include:
- Assisting Riders arrivals
- Assisting with the food preparation
- Supporting operations at the Foodbank WA marquee
- General help across the Event
