Our 4 generators (3 main and 1 reserve provide all the DC power the ship requires (and AC via converters) 2 of the mains are fully operational, the 3rd is under going a rebuild.

We need to people to assist tradesmen and engineers running and maintaining them.

As well as keeping them clean, touching any damaged paintwork.

A good chance for anyone interested in engineering.

We are the MV Cape Don society we operate and maintain the MV Cape Don on behalf of the Sea Heritage Foundation.

We are a completely volunteer run and crewed organisation.
