Migrant Information Centre (Eastern Melbourne)

Become a Young Digital Mentor

Are you aged 14–24 and passionate about technology, helping others, and making a difference in your community?

The Migrant Information Centre (Eastern Melbourne) is looking for young people to join our Young Digital Mentor Program. Through this exciting initiative, you'll receive training and support to help older Australians build their digital skills and confidence.

As a Digital Mentor, you could help someone learn how to use their smartphone, connect with family through video calls, access online services, stay safe online, or navigate everyday technology with confidence.

This is a fantastic opportunity to:

  • Develop leadership and communication skills
  • Gain valuable volunteer experience
  • Strengthen your resume and future study or employment applications
  • Meet new people and build meaningful community connections
  • Make a real difference in the lives of older Australians

You don't need to be a technology expert. If you're patient, enthusiastic, and enjoy helping others, we'd love to hear from you.

Join a growing network of young people creating positive change and helping bridge the digital divide across our community.
