About the Role As a Kitchen Volunteer at our Ivanhoe AgeWell Centre, you’ll help prepare and serve a delicious three course meal for around 15 older people in our community.
More than just cooking, you’ll help create a space where people feel welcomed, connected, and cared for. A warm meal shared together can brighten someone’s day, spark conversations, and foster a true sense of belonging.
What you’ll be doing
- Assisting with preparing a three course meal, with support from our team
- Helping create a warm, welcoming dining experience for older community members
- Keeping the kitchen clean, safe, and well organised
- Connecting with staff, volunteers, and guests to build a friendly, inclusive atmosphere
