We're looking for a warm and friendly volunteer to visit an elderly resident living in an aged care home in the Campbelltown area. Whether you're sharing stories over a cuppa, enjoying a stroll through the garden, reading together, or simply having a chat, your visit can bring comfort, connection, and a sense of belonging.

🕒 Commitment: Weekly or fortnightly visits
📅 When: Weekdays between 10am-12pm or 1pm-4pm
⏰ Duration: 30 minutes to 1 hour

Sometimes the smallest act of kindness can become the highlight of someone's week.

 

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
