🌟 Who We Are 300 Blankets is a not for profit, volunteer run organisation dedicated to supporting people experiencing homelessness across Victoria. We reach out to people who are isolated, overlooked, or doing it tough — breaking down barriers through warmth, respect, and genuine human connection. Our two flagship programs include: 🧡 Outreach Program Every Tuesday and Thursday night, our volunteers walk a set route through Melbourne’s CBD, offering conversation, support, and essential items to people sleeping rough. It’s simple, human, and deeply impactful. 🍽 Soul Kitchen Every Sunday evening at the Braybrook Community Hub, we serve a delicious 3 course meal in a warm, welcoming space. Guests can share a meal, socialise, get a haircut, or have their laundry done — all free, all with dignity.
⭐ As our Policy & Procedure Developer, you will:
- Shape the backbone of the organisation by creating policies and procedures that keep our governance strong and our operations running smoothly.
- Team up with our Secretary and P&P Development crew to draft, refine, communicate, and roll out policies that actually work in the real world — not just on paper.
- Collaborate with passionate people across the organisation, from service managers to frontline delivery teams, making sure our processes genuinely support the incredible work they do every day.
- Potentially grow into a compliance-focused role, helping embed policies into day‑to‑day operations and turning them into practical tools like standard operating procedures.
