Skilled Expert - Woodwork/Carpentry Activity

🔨🪚 Volunteer with Our Carpentry Program 🔨🪚

Make a real difference while sharing a love of woodwork. The Bridge is seeking volunteers to join our popular weekly Carpentry program, supporting people with disability and helping create a fun, inclusive, and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

We are seeking Volunteers who are eager to share their Carpentry and Woodworking skills, supporting participants with skill development and creative exploration. You will support participants to work on projects and produce items of their choice - there is a lot of opportunity to design your own program with us! Experience using a variety of tools, including a drop-saw or jig-saw, would be ideal. The atmosphere is energetic, social, and lots of fun, and we're looking for volunteers who can support participants to enjoy the session in a way that feels meaningful and comfortable for them.

What you'll do

• Support people with disability to participate in our carpentry program
• Encourage social connection, teamwork, and inclusion
• Be a friendly and positive presence throughout the session
• Work alongside The Bridge staff to help create a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone

Please note: Volunteers will need previous skills/experience in Carpentry or Woodworking
