The Treasurer plays an important role in supporting the financial governance and sustainability of LDAA.
Working collaboratively with the President and Committee, the Treasurer helps ensure our financial affairs are managed responsibly, transparently and in accordance with our obligations as a not-for-profit organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the organisation's financial position, records and reporting.
- Preparing or reviewing financial reports for Committee meetings.
- Assisting with annual budgets and financial planning.
- Supporting compliance with relevant financial and regulatory obligations.
- Providing financial guidance to the Committee to support informed decision-making.
- Assisting with financial oversight of donations, fundraising and research-related activities.
