Become a Community Volunteer Do you live on the Sunshine Coast and have 1 hour or more a week to spare? Would you like to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life?

We’re looking for kind, genuine volunteers to visit an older person in their aged care home or private residence.

Your time and companionship can brighten someone’s day and help reduce loneliness. What might your visits include? · Enjoying a friendly chat · Taking a gentle stroll · Sharing stories and memories · Joining in fun activities together, such as music groups or bingo

What’s involved? · National Police Check – cost covered by St John QLD · Visits available in the morning or afternoon · A meet-and-greet and site orientation will be completed before you begin
