Are you interested in helping out on the phones at Lifeline? We have a fantastic new volunteer opportunity to join Lifeline under a fully funded, fast tracked training program for a limited time.
Lifeline Crisis Supporter training includes:
- Stage 1 requirements: Four week initial online training – weekday evening (usually Mon-Wed 6pm-9pm) followed by Stage 2 placement (approx. 25 hours over 2 months) and Stage 3 internship (approx. 80 hours over 7-9 months) at your local Lifeline centre.
- Stage 2 requirements: approx. 25 hours over two months, placement in centre, plus mid-placement workshop and coaching sessions
- Stage 3 requirements: 80 hours (incl. 56 logged in hours on phones) volunteering over 6-9 months, masterclass workshop, elearning completion and min. one call coaching session.
- Receive an accredited qualification for completing the Lifeline Crisis Supporter Workplace Training course
- Build mental health skills and make a meaningful difference Real impact for people reaching out in crisis
