Retail Assistant Volunteer - Join the Vinnies Hawthorn (Receiving Donations)

We are looking for volunteers to help receiving donations in the drive on Mondays (in the morning and afternoon), Wednesday (in the afternoon) and Saturday (in the morning and afternoon). Minimum half a day shift (approximately 4 hours per shift) is preferred.

Other days/roles available are Front of Store volunteers (you’ll greet customers, assist with enquiries, operate the till, process sales and help keep the shop running smoothly) to help out on Fridays (in the morning and afternoon) and Saturday (in the morning and afternoon). We are also looking for a volunteer to help out in the Homewares department on Fridays (in the morning and afternoon).

If you are aged 15 years and over, welcoming, inclusive, and reliable, enjoy working with others, are willing to learn, and can commit to a regular weekly shift of 4 hours, we’d love to hear from you.

At Vinnies SA, our volunteers help strengthen local communities by supporting people experiencing hardship. Funds raised through our shops help provide essential services across South Australia, including housing and homelessness support, emergency relief, financial assistance, refugee support, and crisis services.
