Christmas Gift-Wrap - Brisbane Region

Guide Dogs Queensland are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help spread holiday cheer at our 2026 gift-wrapping stalls.

Where?

We will be running stalls at three different shopping centre locations in Brisbane - Strathpine Shopping Centre, Capalaba Central, and Westfield North Lakes.

When?

Shifts at Strathpine and Capalaba will run from 7 December to 24 December, and shifts at North Lakes will run from 11 December to 24 December. Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available.

What's required:

• Volunteers must be comfortable handling cash and EFTPOS
• Volunteers must be comfortable speaking to members of the public
• Volunteers must be aged 12+ (and attending with a parent or guardian if under 16)
• Volunteers must be able to commit to their full shift time (please note shifts are usually 3-4 hours in length)

Don't worry - we aren't necessarily looking for expert gift-wrappers. Whether you are a seasoned pro, a first-time volunteer, or simply want to come along with your family and friends for some festive fun, we want to hear from you!
