Take some time to slow down, reconnect with nature and nurture your wellbeing through a mindful weaving workshop with Heartwood Nature Bathing.

Join us on Wednesday 4 November for a relaxing 2–2.5 hour hands-on weaving experience led by Monique from Heartwood Nature Bathing. Through the gentle, repetitive process of basket weaving, you’ll have the opportunity to slow your mind, cultivate creativity and connect with others in a calm and supportive environment.

Monique will introduce you to mindful weaving using traditional coil techniques, including the blanket, wrapping and mariposa stitches. You’ll work with natural materials to create your own unique woven piece while taking time to immerse yourself in the experience.

No prior weaving experience is required — everyone is welcome.

Following the workshop, we’ll come together for lunch and then we’ll head outdoors to get our hands dirty and give back to nature through a hands-on wetland conservation activity. Together, we’ll contribute to the care and restoration of our local wetland environment while enjoying the benefits of being outdoors, connecting with others and making a positive difference.
