Social Media & Marketing Volunteer – Help Mums Find Us (Online)

Somewhere in Victoria tonight, a mum is scrolling her phone feeling completely alone. Her children have been removed and she doesn't know who to call. If she sees one of our posts, she might reach out. Someone else might see the same post and donate the bed or car seat that helps her bring her children home.

You don't need to be a marketing expert. If you love social media, enjoy telling stories and want to learn how a charity builds its community, we'd love to have you. You'll have your own Claude AI account to help with planning, captions and ideas, plus guidance on our voice and story. It's all online, so you can help from anywhere.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Planning, scheduling and posting on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
• Sharing real, heartfelt stories: what our mums face, the wins they achieve, and our Founder's own story of why she started Tanya's Home
• Replying to comments and messages, and passing anything sensitive to our Founder
• Helping with campaigns like our Christmas appeal and Sponsor a Room
• Trying new ideas and seeing what works

What You'll Gain:

• Real campaign experience and content for your portfolio or CV
• Your own Claude AI account, and skills in using AI for content
• Hands-on experience in not-for-profit communications and storytelling
• Freedom to bring your own ideas and see them come to life
• Experience you can talk about in job applications and interviews

There's no minimum time commitment. Whether you can give an hour here and there or a few hours a week, there's a place for you. Our volunteers work as a team and share the load, so every bit of time makes a difference.

About Tanya's Home:

Tanya's Home Limited is a Victorian charity founded from lived experience. We support mothers affected by addiction, family violence and other complex circumstances who are involved with Child Protection, and help them keep or reunify with their children. Our support includes advocacy, Children's Court support, treatment and rehabilitation pathways, peer support, transport and emergency essentials. We hold DGR and PBI status and are preparing to open our first supported home for mothers. We're small, growing and full of heart, and our volunteers are a real part of the team.

Your Impact:

Every post you share could reach a mum who needs us or a person who wants to help. We always protect the privacy of the mums and children we support, and you'll be guided on what can and can't be shared.
