Sailing Experiences (3637)

We’re looking for committed/dedicated volunteers to help run our sailing programs on large racing yachts. You’ll sail with our very excited young clients, many of whom have a disability or come from socially challenged backgrounds. You will make a difference by using sailing as a platform to develop communication, teamwork, social skills, problem-solving, self-confidence, and resilience. A love of helping young people be their best is a must!

You will be part of a dynamic, passionate and well-trained team. Our programs range from once-off sailing experiences to term-based programs that provide opportunities for personal growth and skill development. This is a very rewarding volunteer role. Get to be out on the water. Work with a great team.

Boat induction and man-overboard training initially. Then, ongoing online and practical training is conducted at the volunteer's pace, helping them develop the skills to achieve our various accreditation levels, from inductee to skipper.
