HELP BRING NEUROSPARKS TO BRISBANE

Want to help build something meaningful, meet great people and make a real difference in the neurodivergent community?

NeuroSparks is an incorporated Australian not-for-profit bringing neurodivergent adults together through fun, welcoming and low-pressure social events. Around 50 people joined our latest Melbourne event, and now we're expanding to Brisbane!

We're looking for a Community Lead & Event Support volunteer who'd love to help get things started.

WHAT COULD YOU GET INVOLVED IN?

• Help launch NeuroSparks Brisbane and bring local volunteers together.
• Co-host relaxed monthly socials, activities and games.
• Welcome newcomers and help everyone feel included.
• Explore accessible, central Brisbane venues.
• Bring your own ideas and help shape what the community becomes!

MAKE THE ROLE YOUR OWN

Want to take the lead? There's an opportunity to build and shape our Brisbane community from the ground up, develop leadership skills and take genuine ownership.

Prefer a lighter commitment? That's welcome too! Help with events, planning or welcoming attendees without taking on everything.

You'll have guidance from our Melbourne founder, ready-to-use event resources and ongoing administrative support. You won't be starting from scratch!

WHY VOLUNTEER?

You'll gain practical experience, meet like-minded people and help create a space where neurodivergent adults can make friends, feel understood and belong.

GETTING STARTED

We're planning a three-month pilot, with in-person events taking place once a month on a weekend afternoon, plus flexible preparation between events. Venues and dates are still being arranged.

No formal qualifications needed. Just reliability, kindness, initiative and a willingness to get involved. Brisbane-based volunteers must be available to attend events in person.
