Marketing Volunteers Wanted

At Kintsugi Heroes, we share powerful stories of lived experience, resilience and hope, helping people find connection and belonging through storytelling.

To help expand our audiences, and to support fundraising, we're looking for creative, reliable and self-motivated marketing volunteers to join our friendly team.

Whether you're an experienced marketing professional looking to give back, studying marketing or communications, or have creative skills you'd love to put to good use, we'd love to hear from you!

How could you get involved?

There's plenty happening in our marketing team, so there’s lots of space for you to find an area that suits your strengths and interests.

• Social media: Create engaging content that gets people talking, sharing and connecting.
• Newsletters: Help develop our internal and external communications.
• Content writing: Bring meaningful stories, articles and ideas to life.
• Fundraising marketing: Develop campaigns that inspire people to support our work.
• PR and campaigns: Help our stories reach new audiences through media and creative campaigns.
• Creative design: Develop eye-catching graphics and promotional materials using Canva.

Don't worry, you won't need to do everything! You might take ownership of one area, contribute your expertise to a particular project, or explore different parts of marketing before finding your fit.

Who are we looking for?

We'd love someone who:

• Has experience in marketing, communications, writing or design, or is studying a related field.
• Enjoys bringing fresh ideas to the table and turning them into action.
• Is curious about what works and willing to test, measure and improve.
• Communicates openly and takes pride in their work.
• Enjoys being part of a team but is also comfortable working independently.

You don't need to know everything. We'll provide guidance, training and support to help you settle in and feel confident in your role.

What matters most is your willingness to take ownership, keep learning, and have fun along the way!
