The Treasury of Country Australian History (TOCAH) is a non-profit organisation that preserves the history of country Australia by recording personal stories, digitising records, and collecting publications about rural life. Its archive documents the cultural, historical, and scientific contributions of country Australians for future generations. TOCAH is based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
We are seeking a reliable and creative volunteer to help maintain our website and Facebook page. This flexible role is ideal for someone who enjoys digital communication and wants to use their skills to support a worthwhile community organisation.
What you will do
- Update website pages, news and event information.
- Create and schedule clear, engaging Facebook posts.
- Respond appropriately to basic online enquiries or refer them to the right person.
- Check content for accuracy, accessibility and consistency.
- Work with other volunteers to promote activities, stories and achievements.
