As a volunteer driver, you’ll help community members get to appointments, social outings, and activities and making a real difference in their lives. It’s a beautiful way to give back, share a chat, and brighten someone’s day.
We’re looking for kind-hearted, reliable people who:
• Hold a valid driver’s licence • Have a sound knowledge of road rules and a safe, courteous attitude to driving • Are friendly, patient, and punctual • Are comfortable assisting frail aged people and people with disability • Can work as part of a supportive team with other volunteers and staff • Understand safety and risk management and follow relevant procedures
• Can follow a range of procedures to ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone involved.
We’ll provide full support and guidance, and you’ll be warmly welcomed into a team that truly values your time and contribution.
