Front of House: Welcome and Assist (Training Day available Monday 31st August)

‘Front of House’ volunteers are required at the hospital to meet and greet visitors and patients; to escort visitors to their destinations; to assist staff at main reception as required; to provide companionship to those waiting in the lobby area etc. Volunteers may also need to instruct visitors in terms of signage and how to follow colour coding, deliver flowers and parcels that have been left at reception to patient's rooms. This role involves a lot of walking: often 4 - 6 km over the shift. Volunteers need to be friendly and easily able to speak with others.
