Retail Customer Service Assistants - Geelong West

We are seeking friendly volunteers to assist in our Recycle shop which supports people needing care, treatment and accommodation while undergoing life saving treatment for cancers. If you are willing to assist this worthy cause by volunteering in the Recycle Shop you will be requested to maintain the level of service and presentation providing customer service in a retail environment desired by our organisation.
Tasks include:
- Always providing welcoming, friendly and helpful service to all customers
- Receiving of donations in a welcoming and caring way
- Be willing to help with the sorting of donated goods, steaming of clothing, washing china, glasses etc before being priced & displayed in our store for resale
- Help with displaying and rotating merchandise to keep the store fresh and inviting
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and clutter-free store environment for the safety of everyone
- Handling cash and EFTPOS transactions efficiently if required
Regular flexible hours, days or half days are more than available to fit in with your availability.
