Wesley Mission Queensland - Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Program in the community
We’re looking for special volunteer visitors to provide regular social support to our community's seniors living in their own home. If you have insight into how older people with dementia see and experience the world around them and would like to form new friendships with individuals living in their own homes, please read on. In this particular role, a lady would love a volunteer visitor to have a friendly chat over a cuppa, on a regular basis.

headspace Capalaba is seeking Friends and Family Reference Group volunteers. Just as the Youth Reference Group lets us know about the current issues that young people are facing and the best ways that headspace Capalaba can support them, the Friends and Family Reference Group helps us understand what it is like for loved ones to be supporting young people in their recovery from mental health or substance use concerns. Given the nature of the role, we ask participants to be over 26 years old.
