Diabetes Victoria is holding a diabetes education event for the Vietnamese community on May 28, and looking for Vietnamese speaking volunteers to provide in-language support to attendees. We require passionate & friendly volunteers to help The Salvos raise much needed funds. Community fundraising at shopping centres involves collecting donations while sitting at one place, you may be required to use an Eftpos machine. Intersection collecting involves engaging with motorists at intersections encouraging them to donate, you must have some level of fitness as there is lots of walking involved.
