This role involves managing and guiding visitors through historic House in Northern Sydney. Duties include, preparing house for presentation to visitors and house shut down duties. Provide a public presence for security of house and contents, manage flow of visitors through the house. Liaise and work closely with garden and team room volunteers to present House in it`s best light and make visit pleasurable for visitors.
Impart information on House in interesting and engaging manner. Maintain the exhibition space and operate audiovisual equipment. Working hours are 10.30am - 3pm, Saturday and/or Sundays or once per month only on a Wednesday.
Volunteers will be to be comfortable talking to groups of the public and have good communication skills.
