Meals on Wheels Fraser Community has been operating for 56 years in the local area, delivering 2500 each week to approximately 500 clients. Our volunteers find the experience of volunteering for MOW very rewarding, and many have been with us for more than 10 years, and have formed lifetime friendships with staff, volunteers and clients.

Visit a socially isolated elderly man living in an aged care home in Mount Waverley. The resident had a career in business, managing investments. He loves gardening, cricket, dogs, horses and conversation. He has also travelled extensively. Enjoy a cup of tea together, talk about family or go for short walk.
We have a new role we are implementing to support our new residents into care in our residential homes. Do you enjoy talking and hearing other people’s stories? As a Resident transition to care support you get the opportunity to spend time with a resident, get to know them and have a positive impact on their lives by being a companion.
