An exciting design exhibition is being held in the historic home, Tablescaping which will explore the art of table service and design. Maroondah Winter Shelter provides a safe and warm place for homeless males to stay overnight during the winter months, 7 nights per week. Home cooked meals are provided. As a volunteer you would be making a difference to the lives of those who have been sleeping rough. Do you have a love of trains? We are looking for versatile volunteers and have several different positions to fill: Driver / Guard / Signaller / Maintenance Crew and the Kiosk. In each of these positions you can also assist with roles such as customer service, public direction, ticket collection, signal operation, guard, maintenance crew etc. and eventually the elevation to 'Train Driver' for those who are interested.
