Through the Second Bite program, our Pantry provides food security for the most vulnerable people in our community. To ensure the continuation of this service, we need drivers to collect prepacked boxes of fruit and veg on Mondays and Tuesdays. No need to commit to every week, you will be a part of a team and can do weekly/fortnightly or monthly.

Our Adult English classes are held in Koondoola Primary School, supported by the Multicultural Community Centre onsite. You will have be able to plan and deliver the lessons. As an English Teacher Volunteer, you will be providing a training programme online, empowering migrant and refugee women by teaching them conversational English.
As a Computer Literacy Teacher, you will be working in the SisterWorks training room, empowering women by teaching digital skills on-site and/or online.
ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher to teach English to adult students who speak another cultural language. -To assist students in learning to speak, read, understand and write in English. - Ability to teach in either entry level, intermediate or advanced level language classes.
The Meals Program Volunteer is required from 10.00am to 2pm every Thursday to work with staff and consumers to organise and prepare a communal lunch at the Asylum Seeker Welcome Centre. The volunteer will work autonomously and ideally have experience working in a commercial kitchen. Creativity is necessary in order to create a lunch menu using food items that are available in the foodbank during that week. Your work will offer comfort to those seeking asylum in this country.
