Can you help support our programs by volunteering in the St Pats warehouse. Join a friendly team of volunteers for a fun Monday morning sorting through the donations given to St Pat’s by our very generous community. Meet other volunteers and help the community through your volunteering. The clothing donated to St Pat’s is either given to people who are experiencing homelessness or in need or sold at our Op Shop which directly funds our Centre.
Drive a minibus on half or full day outings for aged care and/or independent living residents. . A team member will be in attendance for all aged care outings. Maroondah Winter Shelter provides a safe and warm place for homeless males to stay overnight during the winter months, 7 nights per week. Home cooked meals are provided. As a volunteer you would be making a difference to the lives of those who have been sleeping rough. Being able to listen, show care and treat our guests with dignity and compassion is what we ask for.

SteamRanger Heritage Railway has two volunteer cleaner positions, one for its railway station at Goolwa and the other for its railway station and a cottage at Victor Harbor. The role involves washing/vacuuming floors, dusting, cleaning windows and toilet facilities. The role is a developing one and the cleaning may be undertaken by one volunteer who would be welcome to travel by train between the two locations. Cleaning at Goolwa is approximately 1.5 hours per week, preferably on Wednesdays

Outer East Foodshare collects donated, surplus and rescued food and delivers it to agencies to feed families with food insecurity. Assist to unload and reload food delivered to the Hub. Some food may need to be stored in the Hub for later collection. Help physically sort and pack food for distribution to the food relief agencies we support.
