They seek volunteers to teach driving skills in MIYAD's cars to help disadvantaged people gain a drivers licence, enhance employability and to thrive independently. Female volunteers especially welcome. Hours very flexible. Experience positive outcomes for clients who have no other access to a co-driver and or/car; for whom limited funds precludes driving school lessons.

The Chairperson is the principal leader of MIYAD and has overall responsibility for the group’s administration. The Chairperson sets the overall annual committee agenda (consistent with the views of members), helps the committee prioritise its goals and then keeps the committee on track by working within that overall framework. At the operational level, the major function of the President is to facilitate effective committee meetings.

The Mission of MIYAD wheels is to provide community assistance and support to the disadvantaged in the Great Southern region of WA to improve the mental health, wellbeing and social interactions of individuals in the community.
