The Policy Writer is member of the SOWFI Governance and Policy Sub-Committee. The position works together with the Sub-Committee and the Board Secretary to support the preparation of both internal and public facing documents, including organisational policies, public facing position statements, responses to government inquiries, and other documents which advocate for the conservation, rescue and rehabilitation of native wildlife in line with SOWFI’s objectives.
This is an important administrative role to support our Board Members. We are seeking expressions of interest from people with good time management, experienced in administrative roles and keen to support the leadership team of Save Our Wildlife Foundation Inc. (SOWFI) and our wildlife. This role could be 3-5 hours a week.
As a Volunteer Grant Writer for Santa Paws, you will play a critical role in securing funding from grants to support our mission of rescuing and rehoming dogs in need. Your expertise in researching grant opportunities, writing compelling proposals, and building relationships with funders will help us raise the necessary funds to make our event a success and continue our lifesaving work.

Medical Pantry donates medical supplies to animal welfare agencies, rescues and sanctuaries across Australia to care for injured animals. We’re looking for a passionate communicator and leader to build, and support relationships with animal welfare groups.
