Clemente is a free university education program offered in partnership with Australian Catholic University (ACU). Medical Volunteer

  • Location: Chapman ACT
  • Category: Community Services

The welfare and safety of our children at our camps is paramount. On every Kids Camp we have at least two medical volunteers. If you are a Doctor, Registered Nurse or an Enrolled Nurse who is medication-endorsed and can generously give your time to attend one of our Kid’s camp, we’d love your help. In return, you’ll have a lot of fun. We ask that Medical Volunteers commit to at least one Rec Program each year. You can also volunteer as Companion or Rover. Volunteers must be 18 years and older.

Disaster Recovery

  • Location: Canberra ACT
  • Category: Community Services

When disasters strike people often ask “How can I help?” Anglicare trains and registers volunteers to provide support in their communities in times of natural disaster such as bushfires, floods and after some man-made emergencies. Our volunteers are ready to go at a moment’s notice to provide material aid and general support in evacuation and recovery centres and to assist with outreach doorknocking to disaster affected communities.
