The volunteers will carry out a range of activities designed to support patients and their visitors during their stay at the hospital. The Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation is located at the Perth Children’s Hospital in Nedlands. Our Donation Tin Program is a key source of fundraising with all proceeds helping to ensure we continue to provide world-class healthcare to WA’s sick kids. Tins are hosted by businesses throughout the Perth metropolitan area to seek donations from customers frequenting the business.

The Voluntary Transport team is a lifeline for patients who have no other way of getting to our hospital. Our team picks up and drops off patients at Royal Perth Hospital. We also help patients to get from the Voluntary Transport vehicle to their appointment in the hospital building. We are always looking for new volunteers. A General Front of House Volunteer will be required to meet, greet and give directions or escort if required, visitors and patients to their destination in the hospital. You will at times be required to approach and assist people who may be unsure of where they are going. Other duties include assisting with transport enquiries and general tidying of reception area.
