Garden Mate volunteers work one-on-one with a senior person in the garden, helping with light gardening jobs. You need to be experienced with gardening, and over 18. We are looking for Garden Mates to work in the Hobart and Glenorchy areas.

Help reduce isolation and loneliness for older Australians, from the comfort of your own home! We are seeking mature aged females to provide social connection for male and female Participants. This role is offered 100% virtual, with digital visits scheduled at a mutually agreeable day/time.
Having good social connections is essential for all aspects of health, especially as we age. The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) and Volunteer Visitors program supports older Australian’s who live in an aged care facility or their own home and who are lonely or socially isolated.
An older man living in his own home would like you to visit him. You must be able to converse in Greek and can play board games, chat about Greece and other places of travel, or go for a walk together. Approximately an hour a fortnight or weekly at a time to suit both of you.

Easy Care Gardening is an Aged Care provider. We are seeking active, fit and enthusiastic people to join our mulch team. The mulch team is essential to support the volunteer gardening teams. Our volunteer gardening teams look after our clients' gardens, making them safe, tidy and enjoyable. We weed prune and mulch home gardens to make them low maintenance, to make things easier for the client between our visits.

Telecross supports older Australian’s who are isolated and at risk of accident or illness that may go unnoticed, such as falling or being unable to call for help.
