Port Phillip Youth Services is looking for two enthusiastic volunteers interested in joining FReeZA’s Unsigned Youth Committee to help organise and deliver live music, parties and other cultural, recreational and artist events that are drug, alcohol and smoke free.
Darwin has a variety of unique and beautiful beaches. A new location will be surveyed each Wednesday for marine debris, which are then sorted and catalogued on the day and added to a national database (Tangaroa Blue). Sites include Rapid Creek/Nightcliff, Mindil, East Point, Buffalo Creek, Casuarina and Lee Point. With your help we can reduce debris and preserve our beaches. This project aims to help reduce and control numbers of cane toads in local areas of Darwin. Its a place where people can come along and knit, socialise, have a cuppa or even just enjoy the company of others around. Volunteers need a sound knowledge of knitting and the ability to read and work through new knitting patterns.
