Townsville Museum & Historical Society is Townsville's only museum which preserves, photos and documents to Townsville exclusively. Our museum opens daily from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm and on the first and third Sunday of the month from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
Museum volunteers are integral to the daily functioning of the Museum. Without volunteers the museum would not be able to open Monday to Friday. The volunteers guide visitors and school students through the displays and support back of house administration and various functions that support the preservation of the collection.
