Volunteers mentor young students at a local primary or secondary school on a one-to-one basis. Mentors come to the school during normal school hours, usually once per week for one hour. During this time the mentor spends quality time with their student, providing them with encouragement and taking an honest and sincere interest in the efforts of the student.
