Queenscliffe Maritime Museum Inc
The Queenscliffe Maritime Museum opened in 1986 and hosts over 2,000 artefacts, vessels and heritage buildings that share the history and significance of the local lifeboat and pilotage service, fishing industry, shipwrecks, changing marine environments, and even the adventures of pirates that visited Queenscliff’s shores. Through curated Museum and Point Lonsdale Lighthouse Tours, and new programs and collaborations, the Museum connects thousands of visitors with the stories of life, strife and industry across the waters of Queenscliff, Southern Port Phillip and Bass Strait.
