The Mission of the Queenscliffe Maritime Museum in general, is to collect, preserve, display, interpret and research material which demonstrates the maritime and environmental heritage of Southern Port Phillip, the Port Phillip-Bass Strait interface ("The Rip") and the Queenscliff-Point Lonsdale area.
