Cat Haven

Established in 1961 Cat Haven is Western Australia’s premier cat welfare organisation and is the largest shelter for homeless, lost and abused cats in the state. With an intake of over 8,000 cats each year we operate under the “getting to zero” model which aims to rescue and rehome as many cats as possible. We have a dedicated team of employees and volunteers and foster carers who enable us to meet our Vision that “Every WA cat should be well cared for”. To keep our shelter running, we rely on donations, grants and limited government funding and our Op Shops are now also a wonderful avenue to assist us in raising much needed funds for the cats in our care.
