Greater Western Sydney Advocacy Network

The Greater Western Sydney Advocacy Network (GWSAN) is a grassroots, volunteer-led organisation working to ensure Western Sydney gets its Fair Share of investment in housing, transport, health, and youth opportunities. We bring together residents, researchers, and professionals to create data-driven, community-led advocacy that drives real policy change. Through storytelling, research, and partnerships, we give Western Sydney communities a stronger voice in decisions that shape their future. Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do — collaborating across digital campaigns, research projects, and on-the-ground initiatives that make the region more liveable, equitable, and sustainable for everyone.
