Maryborough Family Heritage Institute Inc. (MFHI) is a volunteer-run, non-profit organisation dedicated to researching and preserving the histories of families who migrated to Maryborough in the 1800s. MFHI maintains a genealogy library, research archives and small museum, supporting individuals to explore their family history. The Institute also publishes and sells books on local and immigration history, helping to preserve and share the region’s rich heritage.
