Queensland Manufactured Home Owners Association Inc (QMHOA) is the peak organisation representing the interests of home owners living in manufactured home parks in Queensland. (aka Over 50s Lifestyle Resorts or Land Lease Communities). We are a not-for-profit Association managed by volunteers who are current or past residents in manufactured home parks or have a relative living in this type of accommodation and are therefore aware of many issues involved in this type of accommodation. QMHOA is led by a Management Committee of eleven volunteers, elected annually under constitution governed by the Associations Incorporation Act 1981. Most of these committee members currently serve dual roses as volunteers as committee and/or as a team coordinator in an operation area. QMHOA has three operational service streams - assistance, education and advocacy, which are supported through a volunteer participation program. QMHOA has an operational unit of two paid staff, a General Manager and Communications/Engagement.
