Wheatfields Incorporated is a community-owned, not-for-profit residential aged care organisation located in Freeling, South Australia, and governed by a dedicated Board of Directors. We have a long-standing commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate and person-centred care, with strong connections to our local community.
In 2021, Wheatfields was awarded a significant Federal Government capital grant to support a major redevelopment of our facility. This exciting expansion will deliver a modern 73-bed residential aged care service, designed to enhance residents’ quality of life, support contemporary models of care and strengthen aged care services within our growing community.
Our volunteers are an important part of the Wheatfields family, contributing their time, skills and companionship to enrich the lives of our residents and help us maintain the strong sense of community that makes Wheatfields special.
