Darani Community Garden Incorporated

Bankstown Community Garden began at the end of 2013 with a working party of passionate local residents who had a shared aim of establishing a garden on the grounds of Bankstown Public School. We are continuing this vision and mission to fostering community engagement and promoting sustainable gardening practices in Bankstown. Our aim is to teach valuable skills and promote environmentally-based education for the school and community in the area. ​​ Although we are known as Bankstown Community Garden, we are underpinned by an incorporated association named Darani Community Garden Incorporated (ABN 86 328 903 131). We have an Annual General Meeting once a year where ongoing members can vote for the Executive Committee.
