Logo for ACT Wildlife

ACT Wildlife is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of injured, sick, and orphaned native animals in the Australian Capital Territory. We are driven by a strong focus on wildlife welfare and a vision of the community working in harmony with nature. As an entirely volunteer-powered organization, our passionate members are the heartbeat of our operations. Our volunteers take on a wide variety of vital roles—from hands-on animal care and operating our 24/7 rescue hotline, to community education, administration, and organisational support. By joining our team, you will: 1. Make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable native species. 2. Connect with a supportive, like-minded community of wildlife advocates. 3. Gain valuable skills and experiences in animal welfare and non-profit operations. We are always looking for dedicated individuals to help us protect and advocate for our local wildlife. Whether you have specialised professional skills or simply a willingness to learn and lend a hand, there is a place for you to make an impact at ACT Wildlife.
